Our story

We started Balboa Island Market & Grille in May of 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. We were apprehensive about starting a new business but since it was an essential part of the island, we decided to make it happen so that we can help provide for people in need of a market. We took 2020 as a time where we could learn the business and be ready for a new, fun season ahead.

 

We want to be known for the store that offers those last-minute items you forgot. Or maybe you just want to come in for a nice cold drink or your favorite snack.
 

Not to mention, conveniently right next door you can stop by for a quick bite. The grille offers a variety of both American and Mexican food choices. We will one day be able to deliver on the island.
